Job Description
The Washington Waldorf School (WWS) is seeking a part-time Athletic Shuttle Bus Driver for our 2026-2027 School Year. This position is needed to transport our athletic teams to their away sporting events and back to campus.
Key Responsibilities/Duties include the following:
- Transport school athletic teams safely and timely to their away games and back to WWS
- Conduct pre/post safety inspections for each trip.
- Ensure children are accurately accounted for on attendance logs.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal transit and traffic regulations.
- Ensure the proper safety of all children when boarding and disembarking the shuttle bus.
- Ensure proper vehicle upkeep to include but not limited to being clean, presentable, and fueled for daily use.
- Report any defects, mechanical issues, and/or safety hazards to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Requirements for the position include:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Clean Driving Record
- Successful completion of all WWS mandated training requirements
- Ability to pass Maryland criminal background check
The games will be scheduled for weekdays. The compensation is $30/hr and could average 5-10 hours a week. We are looking for drivers who have any availability Monday – Friday to cover any day.
