Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts
Ticket sales have ended but you can still sponsor faculty tickets. Thank you!
Join us for a magical evening under the stars at Wolf Trap, while securing critical funds for WWS. In previous years we have raised over $100,000. Will you help us exceed that this year?
The gala is a great opportunity to connect with other families while supporting the school. In addition to the in person event, we will host an online component featuring an auction, raffle, and buy-in parties.
Raffles, Auctions, and Buy In Parties
We are pleased to offer a wide selection of unique opportunities including:
- Buy-In Parties - For adults and for the kids - several have already sold out - don't delay!
- Themed Baskets
- Local Experiences (sports, theater, and more!)
Our elegant evening (cocktail attire requested) will feature dinner from Foxhall Catering with live music and the ambiance of Wolf Trap on a spring night. Attendees have a last chance to make their winning auction bids and secure raffle tickets before an inspiring program on the impact of Waldorf education. Following the presentation will be the announcement of auction winners and the Raise the Paddle appeal (100% tax deductible) for financial aid. The night closes with dessert and more tunes. Bring your dancing shoes for a memorable celebration!
Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit our ONE FUND. Your tax-deductible donation makes a significant impact in this phase of the school's growth. $.85 cents of every $1 donation goes towards financial aid and teacher salaries, both of which we aim to increase in the coming years. We are also currently investing necessary upgrades in the Children's Garden playground, to continue meeting our pedagogical needs for that space. All of this is made possible through contributed dollars and community giving.
Did you know?
- Approximately 20% of our annual operating budget is devoted to financial aid
- 36% of students received financial aid this school year
