Application Process

Application Deadline & Rolling Admissions
Applications for the 2025-2026 Academic Year are due by January 17, 2025.
We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis. Please email our Enrollment Office to inquire about availability for your child's age/grade.
Age Placement
Please note that for first grade and up, WWS uses a different birthday cutoff than our local public schools. Our cutoff date is May 31; for example, a child must be 6 by May 31 to enter first grade that September. Please email our Enrollment Office with any questions about placement.
Online Applications
We accept applications through Ravenna.

Admissions Processes Vary by Program:
Enrollment in our parent-child classes is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our preschool and kindergarten teachers will review the completed application and will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s) and child. Requirements are:
- Completed admissions application
- $60 application fee
- Progress reports from current school
- Recommendation from your child’s current teacher
- Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)
The Grade One Committee will review the completed application and the enrollment director will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s)/guardian(s) and an in-person visit for the child.
Requirements are:
- Completed admissions application
- $60 application fee
- Progress reports from current school
- Recommendation from your child’s current kindergarten teacher
- Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)
The appropriate class teacher will review the completed application and the enrollment director will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s)/guardian(s) and an in-person visit for the student. Student visits are generally 2-3 full school days.
Requirements are:
- Completed admissions application
- $60 application fee
- Official transcripts from current school year and previous two years
- Recommendation from your child’s current teacher (or, if taught separately, math & English teacher recommendations)
- Middle school student questionnaire (for grades 6–8)
- Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)
The High School Faculty Admissions Committee will review the completed application and the enrollment director will schedule an interview with the parent(s) and student, and class visit for the student. Class visits are generally 2-3 full school days.
Requirements are:
- Completed admissions application
- $60 application fee
- Official transcripts from current school year and previous two years
- Two teacher recommendations (one from an English teacher and one from a math teacher, form provided)
- High school student questionnaire
- Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)
