Our clubs allow students to extend their holistic education beyond the classroom into their areas of interest or areas of discovery with their peers. Clubs take place after school or during lunch in the Upper School. Students may join any club of their choosing (where grade appropriate) beginning in the Lower School. Upper School students may request to form their own club, providing them with opportunities to develop their leadership skills.

Our clubs will evolve throughout the year as we expand and adapt to the changing interests of families and students.

All clubs take place on our school campus.

Chess Club (Grades 2-5)

Students will have the opportunity to learn how to play chess and receive guidance to help them improve their chess strategy. The focus is on fun and learning, not competition.

Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays beginning September 9, from 3:15-4:15pm (excluding school holidays, festivals, early release days, etc.)

Cost: $180 for 10 weeks for any dates or $20 for drop-in. Payment is through Venmo to Assem.

Contact Assem at assemstec.us@gmail.com for more information.

Circus Club (Grades 1-3)

Experience the thrill of the circus through challenging and fun activities with Theatricks Circus Experience! Students will explore the arts of clowning, juggling, circus acrobatics, and more! This program strives to build teamwork and confidence, support risk-taking, and, most importantly, have fun!

Schedule: Wednesdays from 3:15pm to 5pm, September 9, 16 & 23.

Cost: $75 for three weeks.

Robotics Club (Grades 5-8)

Students will build simple robots by hand from simple parts: wood, wire, motors, switches. No kits, no code, no screens: every machine can be opened, traced, and explained by the builder who built it. Each session pairs real instruction with long stretches of hands-on building. Short lessons and instructor-led demonstrations show how robots work, and a build book gives every builder a place to draw and explain their own work.

Schedule: Tuesdays from 3:15pm to 5pm, September 8, 15 & 22.

Cost: $75 for three weeks.

Yoga Club (Grades 3-5)

Students will explore yoga through fun poses, movement games, and mindfulness activities. Each session will help build strength, balance, flexibility, focus, and self-confidence while learning calming and concentration techniques they can use both in and out of the classroom. Students will also complete a yoga-themed craft that reinforces each week's lesson in a fun and creative way.

Schedule: Thursdays from 3:15pm to 5pm, September 10, 17 & 24.

Cost: $75 for three weeks.
