Saturday, October 4, 2025, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Saturday, Oct 4 from 9-11am

The Washington Waldorf School’s Development and Land Stewardship teams, together with Little Falls Watershed Alliance, invite you to a joyful morning celebrating the beauty and benefits of native plants.

Native plants promote a living landscape by attracting butterflies, birds, and other pollinators to colorful perennial gardens. You’ll find easy-to-plant plugs of New England Asters, Black-Eyed Susans, Purple Coneflowers, and more—perfect for creating your own vibrant outdoor haven. Fall planting means you’ll be greeted with blooms in spring and summer!

In addition, we will have:

  • Heirloom pumpkins for sale – bring home a little seasonal charm.
  • Free coffee bar – sip and enjoy while you browse.
  • Children welcome – Children are welcome at the event, the PFO will be hosting a playdate at the same time!

You’ll also have the opportunity to donate a plant to the school and support our One Fund, helping nurture both our campus and community.

For tips on using landscaping plugs, visit: North Creek Nurseries.

We hope you’ll join us for this fun, family-friendly morning of planting, pumpkins, and community!
