The One Fund at Washington Waldorf School combines three initiatives: the Annual Fund, Fall Bazaar, and Gala. This fund is the school's most important source of financial revenue other than school tuition.

Your gift to the One Fund supports the school's mission, and directly enhances the education that every child receives.

Contributed support funds:

  • Athletics
  • Adventure Outdoor Education
  • Curricular and Service Learning Trips
  • Faculty Professional Development
  • Financial Aid

The One Fund benefits every student, every teacher, in every program and every grade, every day. All members of the WWS community - parents, alums, faculty and staff, parents of alums, grandparents, and friends - are asked to participate.

"The One Fund provides financial sustainability to ensure we can provide an enriching educational experience for all of our students. Last year, Grade 5 participated in the Pentathalon, a day of games and competition with other regional Waldorf Schools. We spent the day and night in Richmond, VA. This experience supplemented the students' academic learning about Greek history. This is just one of the initiatives that the One Fund supports. As a teacher, I know that when our One Fund is successful, I can provide the full breadth and depth of a Waldorf education. I also know how families sacrifice to make this education possible for their children. Every contributed dollar beyond tuition is so appreciated and received with gratitude." - Lynn Adelmann, Lower School Teacher
