Job Description
The Washington Waldorf School is seeking a Permanent Substitute Teacher for Early Childhood, effective immediately.
Qualifications include:
- Experience working with young children.
- Familiarity or strong interest in Waldorf education.
- Ability to meet Maryland Office of Child Care compliance requirements, and ability to pass a comprehensive Maryland criminal background check.
A bachelor’s degree and training in Waldorf early childhood education are preferred. Otherwise, we seek a Substitute Teacher with a warm and open disposition, and who is enthusiastic, energetic, and patient.
The compensation includes a wage of $25/hour and does not offer any other benefits, but it is a great opportunity to gain experience in a thriving Waldorf school.
The position is part-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-12:30pm.
