Job Description
Part-Time, Year-Round | 10-15 hours/week | $30/hour
Position Overview:
WWS is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Manager to provide oversight and support for the school’s maintenance and facilities operations. This role will work closely with our existing day porter and school leadership to ensure that repair requests and ongoing maintenance are tracked, completed efficiently, and managed with sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the school’s maintenance and repair ticketing system, ensuring that requests are properly logged, prioritized, and addressed.
- Coordinate with the day porter and any external vendors or contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and building projects.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance tasks and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
- Provide guidance and support to maintain the school’s physical environment safely and effectively.
- Communicate with school leadership regarding facilities priorities, ongoing projects, and any challenges or improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects independently.
- Spanish language proficiency preferred (to work effectively with the existing day porter).
- Experience with ticketing or maintenance management systems is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible schedule, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
- Part-time, expected need for 3-6 months with potential to extend or adjust responsibilities based on needs.
