Vanessa is a graduate of the Washington Waldorf School, and has taught in multiple learning environments as an early childhood educator, from her own home-based after-school program to a university lab school, to a daycare in Virginia and Acorn Hill Waldorf Kindergarten and Nursery. Her first class was a pre-kindergarten class at River Song Waldorf School in Fort Collins, Colorado. Vanessa’s son also attended the WWS from Kindergarten through high school (Class of 2025) and is onto new adventures now!
Vanessa serves as the lead teacher of the Cherry Blossom Nursery Class, and is also director of Early Childhood, working with the county licensing specialist.
In her free time, Vanessa enjoys athletic ventures and being in nature, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
