Torie Gorges

Prior to joining the team at WWS, Torie worked as Director of Admissions and Enrollment at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School in Alexandria, VA. Torie spent over a decade as an education researcher, focused on evaluation of education reform efforts and uses of mindfulness in schools. She taught in various settings, from a small town in Costa Rica to a Google Classroom. Torie graduated from Williams College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Stanford University with a master’s degree in education, and holds a Waldorf teaching certificate from Antioch University New England. Outside of work, Torie enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. She has two children at WWS.
