Shota Sakai

Shota was born and raised in Kanagawa, Japan. He began his career as a tutor when he was 18 years old. After he had gained a substantial amount of experience in a variety of settings such as an international preschool, he became a self-employed educator in 2017, opening his own home to children teaching English through arts and crafts, science, and cooking.

As a military spouse, Shota has lived in Singapore and Korea for a year respectively before coming to the States, and he is incredibly excited to start a new chapter in his life at Waldorf School.
