Mr. K is known to be fun, fair, firm and friendly – supporting teenagers. He is a student-focused advocate and advisor. He serves/served on various boards (i.e. MaiaLearning and EAB Global Concourse – educational college counseling related platforms). He enjoyed his role as Co-Chair of the International ACAC (Association of College Admission Counseling) Pre-Conference Institute, and as a faculty member having trained hundreds of counselors. Mr. K has worked in education and admissions counseling for 26 years.
In the US, he worked for the School of International Training (VT), the University of Arizona, The Gregory School (AZ), Drew School, Waldorf School of the Peninsula, Wildwood School (CA), the Awty International School (TX). Mr. K has worked and lived in Chile, Switzerland, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and of course the United States.
Mr. K loves working with teens honing his teen 007 skills and spending time with his family is a father of an 11 year old. He is dedicated to studying wellness, adolescent mental health and the self-discovery that goes along with the college/university application process. Mr. K believes that every young person needs a trusted sounding board and someone who sees the best in them.
