Michelle’s professional background prior to joining WWS was rooted in physical security and emergency management. Her transition into Waldorf Education was inspired by the birth of her daughter, which sparked a deep passion for education and child development. She has completed her first summer residency for her Master’s studies in Waldorf Education at Antioch University. Beyond her teaching role, Michelle is actively engaged in humanitarian initiatives, including education advocacy for girls and women in Afghanistan and demining efforts in Southeast Asia. She is also a dedicated mother to her daughter, who is also a WWS student. She finds joy in painting, her two cats, and expertly crafted lattes.
