Laur (she/they) is an operational leader who brings their experience leading and coaching operations teams in the public schools sector to WWS. Their skills span program management, family engagement, enrollment, human resources, finance, and facilities. Laur was born and raised in Pasadena, CA, and although they will always be an LA girl at heart, they have fallen in love with the DC area.
Before landing in DC, Laur lived in Chicago, IL, Brooklyn, NY, and Oakland, CA. Outside of school you may find them harvesting their garden, going on a bike ride in Takoma Park with their wife and son (who is currently in the Children’s Garden), or creating a new piece with their wife for their collaborative art studio.
