Katie Bozylinsky was born in Syracuse New York and moved to Damascus, Maryland when she was 5 years old. She grew up in a family of educators. Her grandfather was a principal and her aunt and mom both worked as Elementary School teachers, so from a young age, Katie was drawn into the value of education. She worked in Montgomery County Public Schools prior to finding the Waldorf Educational System. She has worked as a Substitute, a Paraeducator, and a Classroom Teacher within MCPS. Her most recent teaching experience was as a Kindergarten teacher. Katie was really draw to Waldorf Education because of the focus on students Social/Emotional well-being. She is so excited to start the school year! Katie and her husband, Sam, have two dogs (their fur babies); Riley and Luna.
