Ms. Robinson joined the WWS faculty in 2009 and has served as the lower school substitute, class teacher, lower school administrative chair, and as a lower school math and science instructor. Before moving to the Washington area, Ms. Robinson worked extensively in the New York City theater world, where she constructed costumes for Broadway shows, ballets, and operas. Ms. Robinson’s primary instrument is voice, and she’s been singing since she joined the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale in fourth grade. Soon thereafter, she started voice lessons at the Colorado Springs Conservatory and toured local schools with an opera outreach program.
Ms. Robinson received her BFA in acting from Boston University in 2003, and her MSEd in Waldorf Class Teaching from Sunbridge College in 2009. In Washington, DC, she has been a member of the Capitol Hill Chorale and continues to sing with Vox Pulchra, a small women’s acapella vocal ensemble. She has studied many instruments over the years including violin, cello, piano, harp, flute, and, most fondly, bassoon.
