Janaki was born in Chennai, South India where she finished her schooling and college. She started her teaching career with special needs and grew to become a curative educator and then school coordinator. She was directly responsible for 70 children and young adults with special needs and 30 teachers and care givers.
Janaki relocated to the United States in 2014 and worked for the Potomac Crescent Waldorf School as an assistant teacher for 2 years and a lead teacher for 2 years in the Kindergarten. During this time, she found her compassion and rooting with young children. She has attended numerous conferences and trainings to enhance her knowledge and quest in Steiner Education and her journey continues.
