Inna Landowne
Waldorf in the Woods Assistant, Parent-Child Lead

Inna was raised in Belarus by her grandmothers who introduced her to conscientious living along with homesteading, hand-working, and a self-sufficient seasonal life connected to nature. She studied Psychology, Pedagogy and Biology at Brest University.
After moving to the US in 1995, she met her husband on the day after her arrival. Her Waldorf journey began on that day since his introduced her to Waldorf which she found to be very similar to her upbringing with her grandmothers. Before becoming a Waldorf teacher, she used the skill of foreign languages to teach and interpret for different agencies and organizations around the country including three years at the UN working with school groups and visitors teaching global issues in different languages. After starting a family, Inna found that Waldorf pedagogy brought meaning and content to her parenting.
Continuing her education, Inna took classes leading to a Waldorf teacher’s certification from NOVA institute and Puppetry Certification from Juniper tree puppetry school. Currently, she is enrolled in the iArte and Emergency Pedagogy program with a Center for Anthroposophy. She homeschooled for four years following a Waldorf curriculum and creating a Waldorf co-op. Inna likes to study philosophy, loves to be around people, having meaningful deep conversations, and loves to do all kinds of different artistic activities.
