Erica grew up in Kentucky studying the classical violin. She earned her MS in Physics, with doctoral research in biophysics, at Stanford University on full fellowship. Erica has been working in Waldorf and Waldorf-inspired schools since 2006 in both support and lead roles, and earned her California Early Childhood Master Teacher and Program Director permits by 2009. She graduated from the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training program where she completed the coursework for Early Childhood, Grades, and High School, with apprenticeships in kindergarten and high school math and physics. She still enjoys performing solo, ensemble, and orchestral works on her violin.
