Dawn Tanner

Dawn came to WWS in 2003. Prior to joining the WWS faculty, she was a class teacher at the Waldorf School of Baltimore for eight years. In addition to her class teacher duties at WWS, she has served as the lower school department chair, as an AWSNA delegate, and as a member of the College of Teachers, and on the Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Social Justice. She completed the Mentor’s Colloquium in 2009 and completed her master’s degree in education at Antioch University in 2011.

Dawn and her partner are the parents of two WWS graduates. While not at work, she enjoys traveling, cycling, gardening, hiking with her two dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
