Barbara Bancroft
High School Art Department Chair, High School Arts Teacher
Barb Chairs the High School Art Department where she has taught studio arts, Art History and History through Architecture since 1998. Before joining the faculty here, she filled the same role at the Waldorf School in Garden City, New York. She has taught painting, drawing, and design at area-wide colleges, served as Curator of the University of Maryland UC Art Collection and worked as Visual Arts Coordinator at Strathmore Hall Arts Center. Barb has completed more than twelve public commissioned murals in and around Prince George’s County.
