Early Childhood After Care Lead

Sandy

Sandy has been an educator for the past 14 years. Starting off at The Rose Garden, a Waldorf inspired day school in her hometown of Buffalo, NY, she has since received her Bachelors in Psychology at University of South Florida, worked in non-profits focused on building leadership in transitioning 5th graders to Title 1 middle schools in St. Petersburg, FL, worked one-on-one with students as the Ed Support teacher at Waldorf San Diego High School, and taught sailing to students with learning differences in Annapolis, MD.

A forever student, Sandy also has raced across the pacific on a 56′ sailboat, earned her EMT certification and her 50 ton Captains License. Focusing on growth and education, living outside the box, she has traveled, explored, and championed many passion fueled projects. The thing that has grounded her, is her strong dedication to the Waldorf pedagogy and fostering children to move confidently and competently through their world. Ready to take on her next adventure, she is excited to join WWS and build her community within our school.
