
Erika Bryant-Northcutt most recently hails from Yokosuka, Japan. No stranger to the DC Metro region, she is a graduate of the Arts Management program at American University where she completed an extensive research project on fundraising and event planning for small nonprofit organizations as well as curated the premier of the Corcoran Collection at the AU Museum.
She has been a social media and fundraising consultant for social organizations, rural theaters, as well as small businesses. She has studied at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia and her research has been published in their annual report.
She most recently served as Assistant Director of Development, Events, and Community Outreach at the Washington Waldorf School, where she helped strengthen the school community through fundraising initiatives, special events, and collaborative outreach with parents, faculty, and volunteers.
Prior to that, she was the longest-serving President of the Officers’ Spouses’ Association of Yokosuka. In this role, she guided a vibrant international membership, championed philanthropic programs, and created meaningful opportunities for connection and support among military families living abroad.
She is also the proud owner and co-host of a Top 100 History Podcast, The Pithy Chronicle LLC.
