Camp Description
Plutarch said, “Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks.” Together we will create the space to “paint words,” sometimes as a group, sometimes individually. This will be a workshop that involves time outside and in, discussion and contemplation, listening and reflecting. But its primary focus will be on the sounds that sing out from each soul in the room. We will work towards a collection of poetry, inspired by nature, those around us, the known and the unknown. On the final afternoon, participants will share their creations in a festival of words. All will receive a special journal for the week.
