Cancellation & Refund Policies

WWS and the summer camp instructors reserve the right to cancel any camp due to lack of enrollment or for any other reasons.
If WWS or the instructor cancels the camp, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Cancellations requested by April 14, 2023 will get a refund less a $100 deposit per camper.
No refund is available for cancellations after April 14, 2023.
There are no refunds for missed days of camp.
Registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Christen Leonard at camps@washingtonwaldorf.org.

Camp Description

As Lorrie Moore said, “A short story is a photograph, a novel is a film.” In our week together, each participant will write at least one short story. Working through a series of steps to develop their ideas, with both quiet time to write and time together to share and workshop their creations, by week’s end we might have a whole anthology of brilliance. On the final afternoon, we will hold a festival of words, and share the fruits of our labor. Each participant will receive a special journal for the week.

About Kate Knuth: WWS’s Middle School English teacher, Kate is a published short story writer. She has been a Waldorf teacher since 1999, and delights in each individual’s voice.”

Minimum 8 campers.
