Job Description
The Washington Waldorf School, located in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a Lead Teacher for our Parent-Child classes beginning Fall 2023. The teacher will plan and implement the Parent-child classes.
Ideally, we would offer two classes on Saturday mornings: one for 1-2 year olds and the other for 2-4 year olds, with three six-week Parent-Child sessions throughout the academic year (Fall, Winter and Spring). There is some flexibility in the details of the schedule. Summer sessions (which need not be held on Saturdays) are also a possibility. The teacher will be paid on a per class basis.
The individual must have Waldorf Early childhood certification, experience teaching young children and the ability to meet all Maryland Office of Child Care requirements including a Maryland criminal background check.
