Job Description

The Washington Waldorf School is seeking a visiting Humanities teacher for our High School Dante Main Lesson block this Spring, 2024.  

The teacher will teach the 11th grade Dante Main Lesson block scheduled for April 8 – May 3, 2024. Main Lessons meet every morning from 8:45-10:00am.

Experience teaching a Waldorf HS Dante Main Lesson is highly preferred.  Waldorf HS Humanities teaching experience, a minimum of a four-year bachelor’s degree and a background check are required. 

Washington Waldorf School is located on a beautiful 6-acre campus in Bethesda, Maryland, a short distance from Washington DC, and within walking distance of the Potomac River. Our total HS enrollment is about 52 students.  We are fully accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and the Association of Independent Maryland & DC Schools.
