THE ANNUAL FUND NEEDS OUR SUPPORT EVERY YEAR! The WWS fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Giving to the Washington Waldorf School Annual Fund is easy: click here to donate online.

Donate while online shopping: Amazon is giving back! It’s easy! All you have to do is use this link: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/23-7003486 when doing your online shopping and 0.05% of your total purchase will be sent to WWS to support the Annual Fund.
Donate through your every day spending: WWS has partnered with Benefit to help raise additional funds for the Annual Fund. Benefit is a free iPhone or Android phone app that can be used to pay for your everyday purchases such as groceries, clothes, home goods, and more; AND its free to WWS. Up to 20% of your everyday purchases at retailers such as Starbucks, Whole Foods Market, Target and Lowes, will be contributed to WWS. Federal employees can donate to WWS quickly and easily through payroll deductions. Click here to access the Combined Federal Campaign Payroll Deduction, and use the CFC code #80332 to select the Washington Waldorf School as your charitable beneficiary.
Planned Giving . You and your heirs can realize substantial tax benefits by including WWS in your will. Please contact the Development Office for more information.
To give to the Jayne Rager Memorial Fund or the Alana Marie Lake Memorial Fund, please indicate the fund on the memo line of your check or in the dedication when giving online.
Online credit card payment: WWS uses the services of Network for Good for online giving.The process takes about 5 minutes and is completely secure.Through our "donate now" link you can choose a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift for monthly or annual donations.To set up a recurring gift, you must create a Network for Good account, then click on "my recurring donations" and set up the amount, timing, start and end date of your monthly donation.

You can mail your check to the School or drop it off in the Development Office.
Credit Card You may call the Development Office if you wish to make a donation by credit card. You can also use your credit card online, above.
Automatic deduction You can have any amount deducted monthly (or at another convenient interval) from your checking or savings account using the same system we use for automatic tuition payments. Call the Development Office, extension 127, if interested.
Conversion of refundable deposit You may convert all or part of your refundable deposit to a gift at any time. Call the Development Office at x127 for a conversion form.

Before you do your grocery shopping, remember to sign up or renew your cards for the Harris Teeter and Giant A+ Bonus Bucks programs. This is an “easy” way to raise cash for the school.
To enroll, register your card number. You can do this…
- Online at www.giantfood.com A+ Bonus Bucks (Group ID 00659) for the Giant program. For Harris Teeter at www.harristeeter.com. Click on "re-link" and search for our school.
- By phone. Call Caitlin MacKenzie, Director of Development, 301-229-6107, x127 or email Caitlin with your number.
- At the store. Enroll in the bonus card program at Giant or in the Harris Teeter program. Designate the Washington Waldorf School as the beneficiary of the Bonus Bucks.
Donations of goods or services to the School are considered to be gifts-in-kind. Gift-in-kind donors are entitled to a tax-deduction up to the full retail value of the item, as determined by the donor. WWS does not assign a value to such gifts. Gifts valued at more than $5,000 must be independently appraised. Please email Caitlin the Development Office if you are making a gift in kind, and she will provide you with a gift-in-kind tax receipt.
