Ways to Give

 

The Washington Waldorf School is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)3 of the IRS code. Our tax identification number is 23-7003486.

Donate Online  WWS uses the services of JustGive.org for online giving. The process takes about 5 minutes and is completely secure.

Check payable to "WWS."  Please note "Annual Giving" in memo line.
You can mail your check to the School or drop it off in the Development Office.

Credit Card  You may call the Business Office or Development Office if you wish to make a donation by credit card. You can also use your credit card online, above.

Conversion of refundable deposit  You may convert all or part of your refundable deposit to a gift at any time. Call the Development Office at x123 or the Business Office at x112 for a conversion form.

Automatic deduction  You can have any amount deducted monthly (or at another convenient interval) from your checking or savings account using the same system we use for automatic tuition payments. Call the Business Office at x112 if interested.

And please don't forget to ask if your employer matches your donation. Many do, and it makes an enormous difference.

Before you do your grocery shopping, remember to sign up or renew your cards for the Safeway and Giant A+ Bonus Bucks programs.  This is an “easy” way to raise cash for the school. 

To enroll, register your card number. You can do this…

  • Online at www.escrip.com for the Safeway program (Group ID 6612607) and www.giantfood.com A+ Bonus Bucks (Group ID 00659) for the Giant program. 
  • By phone. Call Maria Monteverde-Jackson 301-229-6107, x125 or email Maria with your number.
  • At the store. Enroll in the bonus card program at Giant or in the Safeway club card. Designate the Washington Waldorf School as the beneficiary of the Bonus Bucks. 


Gifts-in-Kind
Donations of goods or services to the School are considered to be gifts-in-kind. Gift-in-kind donors are entitled to a tax-deduction up to the full retail value of the item, as determined by the donor. WWS does not assign a value to such gifts. Gifts valued at more than $5,000 must be independently appraised. The gift-in-kind form is available here, and must be completed in duplicate, with one copy for the donor and one copy for the School.
