The Washington Waldorf School community includes everyone who cares about the school: students, teachers, parents, alumni, grandparents, friends, and neighbors.

We welcome and encourage all who are interested in WWS to become involved in the life of the school.

There are many opportunities to participate at WWS, including working with the Parent Organization, volunteering in the classroom, supporting events like the Fall Bazaar and Spring Gala, serving on the Trustees Council or one of its committees, joining a handwork group or study group, and much more.

In addition to enriching the lives of our students, those who participate in the life of the school often find much more. The school offers a rich cultural life with concerts, festivals, and lectures. WWS is also a place to make new friends, while exploring for oneself deeper questions about life and living. Ours is truly a extraordinary community that is diverse, open, and striving to be more.

The Wednesday Bulletin is the best source for what is happening at the school and where and when there are opportunities to get involved; otherwise, ask around!
