Lunch Progam
In January 2011, WWS launched the hot-lunch program for all students. Lunches are largely organic, using local produce when possible. All of the meals are produced in house, fresh everyday. What is made today is served today!
The meals are made with care by parent volunteers and our full-time chef, Eron Picus. Chef Eron, whose brother and wife are WWS graduates, has 20 years of restaurant and catering experience. Chef Eron will take suggestions and will happily accomodate all dietary restrictions when possible.
Lunches cost $5. Students are encouraged to pre-order lunch by downloading the order form at the link below. The form should be turned into the front office.
You can be a part of the lunch program by volunteering to help with lunch preparation, service, and clean up. By supporting Chef Eron with volunteers, we keep the price of our lunches down.
When our children (and our faculty and staff) eat well, they perform well. An organic lunch gets everyone fueled for a productive afternoon. To sign up to volunteer, visit this website:

Volunteer Appreciation in the Lunch Program
Our lunch volunteers are the very best and we would like to show a little appreciation. Beginning February 1, whenever someone volunteers for a 2.5 hour shift in the WWS kitchen, s/he will receive a voucher good for one lunch or for our wonderful leftovers! Vouchers are totally transferable. Vouchers can be used by volunteers themselves or transferred to a student, a teacher, or a staff member.
To receive a voucher, the volunteer must sign up through the SignUpGenius web site. This is a trial program, which will expire at the end of the 2012/2013 school year. All vouchers will also expire at the end of the year.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Ashley Flory via email.
