A visit to the school is a great way to see the Waldorf approach to education in action.

Attend a morning tour, open house, or open day to learn more about WWS. Attendance at these events is optional but highly recommended for prospective parents and students.

Parent-Child Classes Admissions Requirements

Enrollment in our parent-child classes is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please fill out the enrollment form below and include the $60 application fee:

Early Education Admissions Requirements

Our pre-K and kindergarten teachers will review the completed application and will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s) and child. Additional requirements include:

  • Completed admissions application
  • $60 application fee
  • Photo of your child
  • Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)

Lower School (Grade 1) Admissions Requirements

The First Grade Admissions Committee will review the completed application and will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s) and a two-day class visit for the child in kindergarten. Additional requirements include:

  • Completed admissions application
  • $60 application fee
  • Photo of your child
  • Recommendation (form provided) from your child’s current kindergarten teacher
  • Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)

Lower School (Grades 2–8) Admissions Requirements

The appropriate class teacher will review the completed application and will schedule an admissions interview with the parent(s) and student. After an interview is conducted, the class teacher will invite the student for a consecutive three-to-five day class visit. Additional requirements include:

  • Completed admissions application
  • $60 application fee
  • Photo of your child
  • Official transcripts from current school year and previous two years
  • Recommendation (form provided) from your child’s current teacher
  • Middle school student questionnaire (for grades 6–8)
  • Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)

High School Admissions Requirements

The High School Faculty Admissions Committee will review the completed application and will schedule an interview with the parent(s) and student. While at the school for the interview, the student will be given written assessments for English and math. Once the interview is conducted and the assessments are evaluated, the Admissions Committee will consider inviting the student for a consecutive three-day class visit. Additional requirements include:

  • Completed admissions application
  • $60 application fee
  • Photo of your child
  • Official transcripts from current school year and previous two years
  • Two teacher recommendations (one from an English teacher and one from a math teacher, form provided)
  • High school student questionnaire
  • Other supporting documentation (e.g., any educational and/or psychological testing results, if applicable)

Choose An Application Type

Complete the electronic or paper application, including teacher recommendations and your child's three most recent grade reports, any educational or psychological testing reports (if applicable), photo, and the $60 application fee.

Applications for the upcoming school year are due on or before Jan. 31. Midyear applications are considered if space is available in a particular class.

Parent and Student Interview: Interview with the appropriate parent-child program, Seedlings, Nursery (pre-K), and kindergarten teacher, lower school teacher, or high school admissions committee. The high school also requires a written English and math assessment to be completed at the time of the interview.

Attend Class: Attend a play group session (for pre-K and kindergarten applicants) or a three-day student visit (for first through 12th grade).

Hear From Us: Receive the admissions decision notification after all of the steps listed above have been completed. The enrollment director mails the admissions decision notification the first week of March. Mid-year applicants can expect a decision within two weeks of completing the application process.

Enroll: Enrollment is complete upon receipt of all fees and signed tuition agreements.

The WWS student body is international, and we welcome exchange students and visitors. WWS is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. Learn More.
